Each day, dozens of cultural, music and sports performances and events are held in the City of Haifa. The majority of these events are under the auspices of ETHOS – The Haifa Municipality Art, Culture and Sports Association Company.

ETHOS is deployed all over the City of Haifa, in dozens of facilities, with the objective of encouraging quality recreational activities, being an active part in the lives of hundreds of thousands of Haifa and northern regions residents and is a fountainhead of cultural and sports activities for the residents of the north and of all Israel, whether by means of the development and establishment of infrastructure and cultural and sporting facilities or by infusing live and dynamic content into routine life in the city of Haifa.

ETHOS’ fingerprints are well imprinted on the cultural and sports life from the Carmel mountains to the sea: The International Film Festival, the Zoological Gardens, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra and Haifa Big Band, the “Dance in Haifa” series, Shir Israeli series, the Romema Sports Stadium, the Youth City, Sabbath welcoming events, the Beat School of Contemporary Music and Music Club, performances, recreational activities and much, much more.

ETHOS puts a great deal of emphasis on the creation and staging of relevant, innovative and quality content, acquired from a variety of sources: Local – Haifa based, Israeli and international. At ETHOS we make a point of listening to and responding to the needs and desires of a wide range of target audiences, to which the Company has provided conscientious service for over 50 years. Some of the beneficiaries of ETHOS services are: Students, old age pensioners, music lovers, dance lovers, children and teenagers, art lovers, families, sports fans, athletes and many others.
